Rodriguez, 30, joined Minnesota during the 2018 season as a DP after firing in goals for Deportes Tolima in Colombia. It never quite worked out in MLS for Rodriguez, with nine goals and three assists across 39 MLS appearances.
Earlier this offseason, the club traded their first-ever DP Darwin Quintero to the Houston Dynamo and were unable to bring back Vito Mannone, 2019 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year. They’ve added Tyler Miller, Jacori Hayes and others this offseason, though are linked with a number of key additions.
Minnesota are rumored to be chasing Boca Juniors midfielder Emanuel Reynoso and Paraguayan forward Luis Amarilla.
